The device "Capture Mobile" emulates before it screenshots.

Preset

Studio defaults

Passed to the studio in the URL when a capture opens it. Leave either on "studio default" to keep whatever the studio was last set to.

Studio Always save a PNG copy Writes the raw screenshot to your Downloads folder as well as opening the studio.

A copy is saved automatically anyway if the studio can't be reached, so no capture is ever lost.

Mobile capture drives Chrome's own device emulation, which is only reachable through the debugger API, so the extension asks for it at install. Desktop capture does not use it. It is used solely to set a phone viewport before taking the picture, and detached immediately afterwards. Nothing is transmitted anywhere: captures stay on your machine.
